What is the Crown Chakra?
The Crown chakra, or Sahasrara, is the seventh and highest chakra, the gateway to spiritual connection and higher consciousness. Located at the top of the head and associated with thought and cosmic energy, it is where the individual self opens to the divine and the infinite. It governs spirituality, enlightenment, wisdom and your sense of connection to something greater than yourself. When the Crown is open, you feel a profound sense of unity, peace and connection to the universe. Symbolised by the thousand-petalled lotus, it is the culmination of the entire chakra system.
